We are Chris and Tiffany Savage and have been married for 22 years and spent many, many years fostering children and working within the "system" of the states we have lived in. Our hearts are in Orphan care and we try to live out Isaiah 1:17 and the call to "defend the fatherless." We have two biological children; Kylan and Madison that are in college and two adopted children; Parker and Eden that we adopted through foster care in the state of Arkansas. Tiffany is currently working with Embrace Orphan Care Ministry (www.embracetexas.org) as a transition coordinator as an advocate for kids that are aging out of the foster care system. Although we never thought we would adopt internationally, God had a much different plan for our lives and for sweet Esther. We are submitting to God's calling in our life, as crazy as it seems, and we need the help of those around us to bring Esther home from Haiti.
Our story is not a typical international adoption story and it is happening very quickly. We are in need of $8-10K in the next four weeks to make this all come together. We don't want to let money stand in our way because we know God is bigger than any human obstacle placed before us. Watching this journey unfold before our eyes is humbling and exciting!
We realize that it is Christmas and end of the year and times are so tough and tight for many people.
